• Programme leader of the BAcc program – Responsible for ensuring that the programme is current and suitable for accreditation by AACSB and other professional bodies. The College of Business received AACSB International Business Accreditation in 2009.
• Course Co-ordinator for two postgraduate papers – Accounting for Business Administrators and Contemporay Issues in Management accounting in addition to contributions to two undergraduate papers.

2004 – 2008     Associate Professor, Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

• For three years I served as Head of department during which period I was responsible for integrating finance and economics with accounting to form the department. During this period I also raised the research profile of the accounting sub-discipline through joint research with many members. I taught two post-graduate courses – Financial Statement Analysis and Management Accounting, and various undergraduate courses.
